Wright on the Walls exhibition (illustrations and signage) 2017

In 2017 I made illustrations and decorative materials for an interactive exhibition “Wright on the Walls” at the National Building  Museum. Curators: Zach Levine, Caitlin Bristol, Sarah Leavitt, and Cathy Frankel.
A part of the commemoration of Frank Lloyd Wright’s 150th birthday, this interactive installation transformed a museum gallery into a life-size coloring book. Participants used dry-erase markers to add their own color to Wright’s designs, which had been interpreted as black-and-white line drawings by two DC-areas artists in a 1,000 square foot gallery. A soundtrack accompanied the gallery experience, drawn from musical performances at Wright’s Taliesin Fellowship in the 1940s.
